하와이 최대 음악 축제인 멜레 메이의 하이라이트, 제40회 나 호쿠 하노하노 어워드 시상식이 막을 내렸습니다. 전세계 하와이 음악 뮤지션들을 만날 수 있는 세계 최대 하와이 음악 시상식이라고 할 수 있는데요! 올해엔 어떤 뮤지션들이 수상을 하였는지 지금 바로 확인해 보시기 바랍니다. 나 호쿠 하노하노는 시상식뿐만 아니라 뮤지션들의 공연까지 즐길 수 있습니다.

올해의 앨범, 올해의 인기 엔터테인먼트, 올해의 노래, 올해의 그룹, 올해의 유망주, 올해의 하와이안 앨범, 하와이안 언어 퍼포먼스, 하쿠 멜레 어워드 등 다수 부문에서 수상을 한 그룹 “케아호우 Keahou”입니다. 케아호우는 하와이 뮤지션 팔리 카아이후에가 주목하고 있는 뮤지션으로도 소개됐었습니다. 카메하메하 스쿨 졸업생들로 구성된 그룹으로 하와이어를 유창하게 구사할뿐만 아니라 작곡과 작사 모두를 맡아 음악을 만들고 있습니다.

“칼라니 페아 Kalani Pe’a”는 제95회 그래미 어워드에서 수상했던 또 다른 유망주입니다! 이번 나 호쿠 하노하노 어워드에서는 올해의 현대 음악 부문에서 수상했어요!
